Tindie is based in the US and doesn't handle tax collection for sellers at the moment. Sellers are responsible for collecting and submitting any sales tax due. Please check the requirements in the area where you live and wish to ship.
If you need to apply sales tax or VAT to your orders, please include it in the price and shipping rates (if location-based) or add an option. Unfortunately, our accounting department has now put a hold on VAT because of the Siemens acquisition of Supplyframe. The integration process is lengthy, but we don't have any timeline for reviewing Tindie. We know it's frustrating, but we appreciate your patience. As soon as we are authorized to work with tax information, we will email all Tindie sellers and announce it publicly.
