Do not refund buyers directly
In the event of a dispute, we're unable to consider transactions that take place outside of the Tindie system and may result in double refunds
- do not refund buyers directly from your Paypal account to the buyer's Paypal account
Refunding unshipped orders
On the Orders page, you can issue a Refund or Cancel an order you have not marked as shipped. A Refund will refund the total cost and not change your inventory. Cancel will refund the order and add the order's inventory back into your stock available for sale.
This takes you to the refund page. All you need to do is select the most applicable Cause, state the reason for the refund in the provided box, and click "refund."
Shipped orders and partial refunds
If your item has already shipped and you still need to give a refund or would like to do a partial refund, don't hesitate to contact us with the order details explaining the situation, and we will take care of it. Examples of situations where we have to issue a refund for you are:
- PayPal dispute
- credit card dispute
- orders in transit
- orders pending transit
