Sales Tax or VAT
Tindie is based in the US and doesn't handle sellers' tax collection. You can contact the Seller directly to find out how they handle sales tax or VAT.
If you need your VAT number displayed on your order invoice, you can add your VAT number when you place your order in the 'Additional Shipping Info.'
If you've been provided with a VAT number from the seller after the order has been placed, you can request it to be added to your receipt by contacting support at hello@tindie.com.
Import Duty and Customs Fees
Buyers are responsible for all import duties and fees. Orders unclaimed because of these fees may not be refunded in full if returned to the seller.
Shipping carriers may collect import fees or customs duties before the item is delivered. This depends on where the item is shipped from and delivered to.
Customs authorities do not levy import duties on products traded between EU member states. However, VAT may be payable (see above).
